Do you remember when ?
Northern Experts 1970
At a cold and misty Northern Experts trial in 1970, Mick Andrews made a rare UK appearance. Riding the prototype 250 Ossa he had ridden to success in the Scottish Six Days Trial in May, he returned to his old hunting ground in the High Peak. Many trials fans were eager to see Mick in action on home soil, as during the year he had spent many months in America promoting the Spanish Ossa brand. The machine featured a new 5 speed gearbox and was now taking shape ready for the machine to go into production in 1971. The machine never missed a beat all day and Mick had a nice steady ride in the Derbyshire countryside to take a convincing win.
